Released: 22 November Zooropa is the eighth studio album by Irish rock band U2. Produced by Flood, Brian Eno, and the Edge, it was released on 5 July on Island Records. Inspired by the band's experiences on the Zoo TV Tour, Zooropa expanded on many of the tour's themes of technology and media : Alternative rock.

Here's a brief track by track review: 1. Zooropa - Starts out slow with some static, but once it gets going, it's crazy how different the sound is from other U2 songs. It's very relaxed, but the instrumentation is rather electronic, which gives it a fresh feel. The last minutes of this song are amazing/5().

  1.  · Initially intended to be just an EP, Zooropa became a full-fledged album with 10 tracks recorded in six-weeks, the fastest U2 album ever. Interesting releases from around the world included two Australian sets of 2 x 5 CD packs. The first 2 x 5 CD pack included a copy of the Stay (Swing Format) single as the 2nd bonus CD.
